Error 404 is the “Not Found” error message. It is an hyper-text transfer protocol code specifying that the server could not find what was requested.

404 errors are not the same as “Server Not Found” errors.

Sometimes you will receive a 404 error if the server was configured not to fulfill the request and did not reveal the reason why.
